Burton Stone House

A Birch plywood kitchen, it could only be a beautiful thing.

We were gifted a lot of creative control on this project and allowed to guide the client around how the space might work best for them in the area provided in their new extension. We settled on a drawer system to maximise each unit and added a large pantry unit for all the store cupboard items, for a narrow unit it is particularly spacious.

Softened rounded rectangular handles with a 45° bevel on the inside provide a smooth and firm grip to open the drawers and cupboard doors. This is paired with the highest quality Blum soft close hinges and drawer runners.

23-Jun-23 - Currently the kitchen is awaiting appliances and worktops so additional completion photographs will follow.

It all starts with a conversation and this project in-particular needed thorough discussions due to the unique situation and experience of the client. After various iterations and decisions to ensure they were absolutely happy with what they would be presented with, we ended with an entirely drawer based kitchen design which maximised each unit space.

We used half-housing joints on the cabinets because they’re beautiful with the linear detailing of the ply.

They also add strength and an element of flow around the framing.
