Ings Flats

Working alongside an excellent developer we designed the interior space and room layouts of this 1960’s second floor apartment. Upon initial inspection with the client we knew that the kitchen and lounge could be brought together to form one bright and airy living space by removing a non-structural wall and allowing the southern and northern light stream in on a daily basis.

By bring these two rooms together we not only gained a huge amount of usable space though created a great social living area. This project was another full end-to-end renovation which included a new bathroom layout and suite, two bedrooms, kitchen (design + build), flooring, all new plumbing and electrics as well as the installation of solar films on the windows to assist in reducing heat loss and heat gain (up to 65%) from the south facing aspects.
